It is an almost weekly occurrence that someone shares with us yet another connection between Congressman Brat and alt-right conservatism (aka white nationalism aka white supremacy). Brat plays dumb when he’s trying to play nice, but it’s hard to ignore the mounting evidence that he has been colluding for decades with some of the most loathsome ideologues in the Country (John Allison, former CEO of BB&T and current Board member of the uber-conservative CATO Institute, Betsy DeVos, Secretary of Education, Steve Bannon, former White House chief strategist and current Executive Chairman at Breitbart, Stephen Miller, current White House aid and speech writer for Trump). Brat’s nationalist ideology is the most compelling reasons we must oppose his re-election in 2018.
Julia Hahn is among the quieter, more discreet links between Brat and the Bannon-Trump nationalist agenda. Who is Julia Hahn? It’s the the question she’d love for us to consider ala Ayn Randian Objectivism’s quintessential “Who is John Galt?”
Take a moment to watch this NowThis video and read the Washington Post’s March 2017 article “Who is Julia Hahn? The unlikely rise of Steve Bannon’s right-hand woman.” On November 7, 2017, Cosmopolitan also uncovered “Who is Julia Hahn? 7 Things to Know about Steve Bannon’s Protege…”
Julia Hahn, featured far right.
Julia Hahn is a forgettable name and she likes it that way–for now. She’s been quietly behind Breitbart, Brat, and Trump for years now and she’s only just begun. But, this blog isn’t about Hahn. It’s about Brat. Brat hired her. He helped launch her career. It’s not enough to remember her name; we must remember that Brat is aligns himself with hateful ideology and people that support it.
This Salon article pulls together many Brat’s race-baiting, xenophobic nationalist tendencies, but likely just scratches the surface of his real intent and how low he’s willing to go to reach his goals.
